Mediation Services are available to assist with the resolution of conflict within your workplace, whether it be between staff, or it involves management. Clients can access professional mediation services form WIS. The process involves:
1. The WIS mediator interviewing each party to the conflict, and conducting a preliminary investigation of the issues of dispute, or causing the conflict.
2.The parties are brought together with the aim of finding a resolution.
3.A full report is prepared outlining the details of the dispute, the terms of any resolution reached and employment relations advice regarding the matter and future operation and staffing considerations.
Mediation is a fast, confidential and inexpensive process and can occur with any type of dispute. If the parties do not reach an agreement at mediation, at the very least the mediation will assist the parties to identify the real issues in dispute.
